When you sign up for Datascape, you’re automatically registered with BigGeo Studio, creating a unified account that spans both platforms. This setup allows you to manage your organization’s settings and team members in a way that’s flexible and tailored to your workflow. Although BigGeo Studio provides a central account and team structure, permissions and access are managed independently within each product space, like Datascape.
Important: Snowflake Native Apps do not include account management features linked to BigGeo Studio. Instead, Snowflake Native Apps rely entirely on Snowflake’s permission management system, which is separate from Datascape’s web-based tools.
What Is Account Management?
Account management refers to the tools available for managing your personal profile, organization settings, and team member access. With a BigGeo account, you can configure organization-level settings in BigGeo Studio and grant specific product space access (like Datascape) to team members.
Important: When managing team members from within a specific product space, such as Datascape, you’re only configuring their access to that particular space. This means any changes you make will apply only to Datascape, without affecting the team members’ access to other BigGeo Studio product spaces.

Your Datascape sign-up creates a unified BigGeo Studio account, allowing seamless access across both platforms.
Manage your organization’s overall settings and specific product space permissions from either Datascape or BigGeo Studio.
2. Product-Specific Team Management
Datascape-Specific Team Management:
When you manage your team in Datascape, you’re only controlling access to the Datascape space.
Add or remove members and set permissions specific to Datascape without impacting their roles in other product spaces.
BigGeo Studio Team Overview:
BigGeo Studio maintains a central roster of team members, but access to each product space is managed individually.
Team members may have different roles or access levels in Datascape compared to other spaces, like Datalab.
3. Organization Settings Across Platforms
Adjust organization-wide settings, such as your organization’s name, industry, and preferences, from both Datascape and BigGeo Studio.
Any updates are synchronized across platforms for consistency.
4. Snowflake Native App Note
No Account Management:
The Datascape Snowflake Native App does not support BigGeo Studio account or organization management.
Instead, Snowflake relies on its own permission and role management system.
Independent Systems:
Permissions for Snowflake Native Apps are separate from those managed in Datascape’s web portal or BigGeo Studio.
