# Purchasing a Dataset

First, select how you plan to use it from the options made available by the data provider:

* **BigGeo AI:** usable within BigGeo AI
* **Map Embeds:** available for map embeds
* **DataScape:** usable within DataScape
* **Exports:** can be exported out of the platform

Next, select how you want to buy it from the options made available by the data provider:

* **Pick & Pay:** choose only the specific boundaries you need and pay based on that selection
* **Full Datasets:** buy the entire dataset as one package
* **Pre-Bundled:** select a predefined boundary or region

Choose a pricing option.

Review your selection, then select either:

* **Add to Cart** if you're buying multiple datasets at once
* **Buy Now** if you want to buy this dataset immediately

Tokens are deducted from your balance immediately, and the dataset is available to you right away.

Data freshness varies by dataset and provider. Each listing shows the date it was last updated. <mark style="color:$danger;">**I provided a feature request for this and I think it will be a quick fix so I will edit this accordingly.**</mark>

Coverage depends on the specific dataset. Check the listing for geographic scope. Most major commercial datasets cover the US, Canada, and key international markets.
