# How to Search the Marketplace

The BigGeo Marketplace is where you find and purchase spatial datasets to query through BigGeo AI. You can browse by category, filter by provider or country, or search directly for the type of data you need.

### **Finding the right dataset**

**Step 1 — Open the Marketplace**

Click your workspace name in the top left of the screen and select **Marketplace** from the menu.

***

**Step 2 — Search by keyword**

Type what you're looking for into the search bar. You don't need exact dataset names — describe the type of data you need.

*Examples:*

* "crime risk"
* "parcel and land use"
* "retail points of interest"
* "EV charging stations"
* "flood risk zones"

***

**Step 3 — Filter your results**

Narrow results using the filters on the left:

* **Category** — the type of data (e.g. Demographics, Real Estate, Infrastructure)
* **Provider** — the data source or publisher
* **Country** — limit results to a specific geography

You can combine filters to get to the right dataset faster.

***

**Step 4 — Review a dataset**

Click any listing to open the dataset detail page. Here you'll find:

* A description of what the dataset contains
* Coverage area and update frequency
* Available attributes and fields
* Pricing options

***

**Step 5 — Check compatibility with BigGeo AI**

Before purchasing, click **View Pricing** and confirm that **BigGeo AI** is selected under *How you plan to use it*. If you plan to use the dataset in other BigGeo products as well, select those options too.

***

**Step 6 — Purchase**

Click **Buy Now** to complete your purchase. Tokens are deducted from your balance immediately and the dataset is available to query right away.

### **Tips for finding the right data**

* **Not sure what it's called?** Search broadly first — use a category term like "demographics" or "infrastructure" rather than a specific dataset name.
* **Comparing options?** Open multiple listings in separate tabs to compare coverage and attributes side by side.
* **Don't see what you need?** Contact <support@biggeo.com> — new datasets are added regularly and your CSM can flag upcoming additions.
