# Add Team Members

Adding team members in BigGeo Studio allows you to expand your organization’s access to product spaces and manage each member’s roles and permissions. Follow these steps to invite a new team member and set their permissions for specific areas within BigGeo Studio.

## Access the My Team Section

**Navigate to the Sidebar**: In BigGeo Studio, go to the sidebar and click on **My Team** under the Management section.

**Invite a New Team Member**: In the My Team section, click the **Invite Member** button.

## Fill in Team Member Details

On the **Invite Team Member** page, you’ll see a form to fill out the new member’s information and set their permissions.

**Enter the Email Address**: Type the new team member’s email address in the **Email** field. An invitation will be sent to this address.

## Set Studio Permissions

Below the email field, you’ll see a **Studio Permissions** section where you can assign area-based roles for each BigGeo product space and other management sections.

**Assign Permissions for Each Area**:

* For each area (e.g., Marketplace, Datascape, Datalab, Velocity, Team Management, and Settings), you can choose either **Standard** or **Admin**.
* **Admin**: Complete control over the assigned area, including the ability to create and manage content or settings within that space.
* **Standard**: Restricted access to view-only permissions, allowing the user to monitor without making changes.

**Customize Permissions by Area**:

* Use the radio buttons to select **Standard** or **Admin** for each area, tailoring the permissions to the team member’s responsibilities.

## Assign the Team

At the bottom of the invitation form, you’ll see a **Team** section, where you can add the new member to specific teams within your organization.

**Select a Team**:

* Choose the appropriate team(s) (e.g., Admin team, GIS team, Marketing team) to organize the member by department or project group.

**Products Column**:

* Next to each team, there is an icon indicating the products or spaces each team has access to. Ensure that the member’s assigned team aligns with the necessary product spaces for their role.

## Send the Invitation

**Review Permissions**: Double-check that the email address, studio permissions, and team assignments are correct.

**Send Invite**: Click **Send Invite** to send the invitation to the new team member. They will receive an email to join BigGeo Studio and accept their role within the organization.
